When The Sky Was Too Low

Adam Bestwick

Once upon a time, the sky wasn’t high like it is today. It was annoyingly low. Children couldn’t fly kites, balls got stuck in the huge expanse of fluffiness, and adults had to stoop when they walked.
Needing to solve the problem before they became adults, the children form a plan that lifts the sky to its rightful place, and creates the starry night sky in the process. Adapted from a native American indian tale.
